Basil Rose is a sweet, eccentric penguin who is Willy the Penguin's love interest.
Background[]
Basil Rose was born in South Pole City and she was very outgoing, to which she played to her advantage, making long-term best friends, Mikeala and Kailee, and most like other penguins, went to elementary school where she excelled in swimming, but did average in academics.
But when she got to middle school is where this whole paragraph gets sort of decently interesting. She immediately signed up for swimming. There, she made more friends, and kept the ones she had before. However, one day whist walking down the hall, bumped into a goofy looking penguin who was talking to himself in an odd fashion, initially, like any sane penguin, was freaked out by the penguin's eccentric behavior, but knew him from around anyway. That's about when Willy the Penguin fell in love with her. However, she just decided to remain friends with him, she eventually got to know him, and the two became close friends. However, during Christmas of 2009, the two started dating.
Involvement[]
Basil is currently involved with her school's Swimming and Diving team (to which Willy attends all meets) and attends regular classes at her school, and still hangs out with her best friends and family. She has recently taken up gardening. She also currently dating Willy.
Personality and Appearance[]
Basil is very sweet and kind, but also a bit quirky. She loves to fun, whatever "fun" might be. (I.e.- Rolling down a hill on a futon, ticking off Herbert on purpose, pulling pranks with Willy, etc.) She loves spending time with her friends and family, and her boyfriend Willy, as the two are very much in love. Basil likes to say the word "cheese", but doesn't like cheese. She typically wears a pink hoodie, with a flower in her (actual) hair, occasionally.
