History
Magonia was constructed in (year) using A/D conversion. Simply put, the raw materials were digitised, fed into a computer program, shaped into an island supported by clouds, and then converted back into physical matter. This rather set the tone for the rest of it's history: almost everything there uses A/D conversion systems in some way.

Goverment
Since it took off, the inhabitants have been ruled by the creator of the island and inventor (probably) of the A/D converter: Lord Sofer. However, most day-to-day tasks are handled by the many AI systems he has built (artificial intelligence is very common in Magonia.)
