Law Island Media Company (or LIM Co.) is a company that runs TV, radio, newspaper and internet in the Law Islands.
History
Television and Newspapers
During the colonisation of Highlaw Island, the colonies were very isolated. It is about 50 miles to the nearest island. A group of penguins created the first portable television on Highlaw Island. Following that, they also invented Highlaw Island Television in 1984. Newspapers started coming to the island via ship. In 1986, the first newspaper press (Highlaw PaperPress) in Highlaw was made. At first it only made The Highlawnian Times then started printing The Penguin Times (which is now the The Club Penguin Times)
Radio and Internet
During the 1990s, radio was being perfected. Highlaw Broadcasting, along with a team of hackers, to hack into Antarctica's radio system. They were then caught by the government and sent to The Hot Snow for 3 years. Meanwhile, Dorkugalians went to Highlaw Island to try and perfect internet. By 1998 the inernet was up and running with Highlawnternet Co. The radio was then perfected by the Highlaw Media Company which bought all the other media companies in Highlaw Island.
2000 Onward
When Lowlaw Island was founded, the company made a base there and merged into the Law Island Media Company. It's TV now has High Definition and Pay-TV. Radio now has HD sound. Internet is now 5x faster than it was in 1998. Newspapers are now published weekly, with up to 10,000 sold per day.
