Walruses Rivals

Elephant Seals are a large species of Seal, and the main rivals of Walruses. They're one of the largest animals in Antarctica, and are known for being very bad tempered. There are two subspecies, the Northern variant and the Southern variant.

Species Information[]

Elephant Seals are the largest type of Seal in Antarctica, and the World. They occasionally come into cities around Antarctica, but they mostly just keep to themselves along the Coast. Unlike Leopard Seals though, Elephant Seals don't eat penguins. Instead they eat Fish and occasionally Mullets. They can however be dangerous if provoked, and they don't usually watch were they're going so be sure not to get in their way.

Male Elephant Seals are also much larger than Female ones. They also have a huge snout, wich a lot of penguins usually point out when talking to one. Most Male Elephant Seals usually have a lot of scars on them to. You see, Male Elephant Seals usually fight with each other a lot, while the Female ones are usually more peaceful.

Northern Elephant Seal[]

Northern Elphant Seals are an immigrant subspecie. They outnumber the Southern Elephant Seal and they can be found in almost every location thinkable in Antarctica. They are nomadic, never settling. Like Bears they follow the fish which is why they never settle. There isn't even a minority that settle! They are more aggressive then the Southern variant.

Southern Elephant Seal[]

Southern Elephant Seals are the native subspecie. They are found in Sub-Antarctic and the UnitedTerra area, making up 40% of the Elephant Seals. Usually they stay in one place to fish and come into cities more then Northern Elephant Seals.

Rivaly with Walruses[]

Elephant Seals share a bitter rivalry with Walruses. Usually they compete to see who is the better species of Pinniped. Elephant Seals have size on their side, but Walruses have large tusks. It usuaully ends up evenly matched, but the two species will keep fighting until one wins.
